Every once in a while, I hear a song that brings me back to my first FM Radio job at WRXZ Z-104 in Bloomington, IL (station long gone). Today's Song of the Day is one of those tunes.
"Change" was released in 1991 by the British singer-songwriter and actress Lisa Stansfield. It was the lead single from her second album, Real Love. You may remember Lisa from her #3 Hit "All Around The World" released in 1989. "Change" did not achieve the same success, but it was a modest hit, climbing to #27 on the Hot 100. The song was a #10 Hit in many European countries and was #1 on the Hot Dance Club Songs for two weeks.
Change is good! Change is needed!
